Portuguese Designer, Christophe de Sousa was born in France in 1979.
He spent part of his childhood and adolescence in French soil and has returned to Portugal with his family. This mixture of experiences allowed a broader view of the different cultures that serves, along with others, as their base of influence.
He’s graduated in Product Design at the Universidade Lusíada in Oporto. At his professional path he went through several companies always performing functions as a designer. Along his journey he has collected some awards: in 2012 at THE ART ON CHAIRS International Competition he gets the 7th place in Top10 category of MAKING CHAIRS; in 2013 at HOME SWEET HOME by SIEMENS he wins the SIEMENS PRIZE with KBOX; 2015 at DRESS ME UP! by JORDAO COOLING SYSTEMS he gets an HONORABLE MENTION with his project named BRISE.
Assumes himself as a passionate about the creative process and early learned that his path would have to pass through an area that would allow him to give wings to the imagination. His major ambition is to leave his mark in the world of Design, the ability to convey emotion through an object is, without doubt, the force that moves him. Obsessed with shapes and an amazing observer he sees in the details his greatest allies in the pursuit of perfection!
