Aikaterini – Niki Glinou (Athens, Greece, 1974) studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens (2000) and received a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from NTUA (2006). Since 2000 she has been working in private and public projects and also participated and awarded in architectural competitions.
During her studies she started designing and creating contemporary jewellery. Architecture was always present in her designs. Her jewellery was first set to public in 2005.
During 2011 she started working exclusively on jewellery design, creating the brand name Bead A Boo that is an alteration of the game Peek A Boo.
From that point Bead A Boo Jewellery participated in a few exhibitions that took place in Athens.
In June 2013 she opened her own e-shop using the Etsy e-market place. She also collaborates with physical shops in her home town.
In her work she loves using different kinds of material but she prefers felt. Lately she started working with sterling silver but the work is still in progress
